When purchasing gas, we strongly recommend paying inside at the cashier. If you choose to pay at the gas pump terminal outside (pay at the pump) you must have at least a $100 available balance on your card. If you don’t have at least a $100 available balance your purchase may be declined.

Each ABLE account is connected to only one prepaid card and is treated as its own account – separate from any other ABLE account. Therefore, you cannot transfer or mix the funds from different accounts.
You can load your card and track your card’s activity directly from your ABLE account. You may not add funds to your card account by from any other source, including credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, cash or by sending personal checks, cashier’s checks, retailer load networks (e.g. GreenDot, MoneyGram, Western Union, etc.), or money orders to the Issuing Bank. A PIN is a 4-digit security feature. A PIN is used when making PIN-based purchases like “debit” transactions. Please remember to keep your PIN safe and do not write it on your card. When selecting a PIN, do not use numbers or words that appear in your wallet (e.g., your date of birth, address, social security number). Memorize your PIN and do not share it with anyone else.

You can only have one prepaid card connected to each ABLE account you manage or own. So, if you have an ABLE account for yourself and you’re an Authorized Legal Representative for a beneficiary who also has an ABLE account, you can have one prepaid card with your name for your ABLE account and another one for the beneficiary with both of your names on the card. Your card must be activated within 30 days of registering for a Card Account or your Card Account will be closed.
